A three day Major Emergency Management Training was held at Kulevi Oil Terminal on February 19-21, 2010. Courses were provided by Occupational Training International (OTI). Incident Management training is a part of our ongoing Emergency Response training and development.

It consisted of a mixture of theory and practical emergency response exercises. The Emergency Response Team Leader and Senior Safety Advisor assisted with the exercises and helped to make it very realistic. Two BST operation superintendents also participated on competence assessment in the role of “On Scene Commander” and both were successful.

Emergency Management involves plans, structures and arrangements established to engage BST Emergency Response Personal in a comprehensive and coordinated way to respond to the whole spectrum of emergency needs.
