Innovation implementing on Kulevi Oil Terminal (BST) is ongoing. Two new current measurement devices - RDCP have been received recently.

Information provided by this devices is very important for vessel traffic management and includes such measurement data as direction and speed of flow on different depth, height of waves, and depth and temperature of water as well.

One of the devices was already installed at 130 m. distance from the berth on the south border of access channel. This was the one of main requirements for high tonnage (AFRAMAX) tankers mooring.

Recently, Kulevi Oil Terminal has been officially authorized to load AFRAMAX tankers. This decision was made by Maritime Transport Department of Ministry of Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
