Black Sea Terminal’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) was founded in November 2007 for operative reaction to emergency situations.

It consists of 44 employees. ERT is equipped with three Fire Trucks and two full equipment sets for elimination of oil spills. Each command staff has successfully passed comprehensive trainings covered all directions of its activities (fire fighting, rescue, oil spill response and others) and at present executes duties on high-level.

During the past period ERT of BST together with Fire Brigade of Khobi region had actively operated in two forest fires extinguishing in order to helping for local people and to prevent environmental impact.  Also ERT actively participated in pumping out of fuel from sunken vessel «SKADOVSK» and elimination of oil spill.

To maintain emergency preparedness of each command of ERT is carrying out daily internal trainings, on suppression of various fires and liquidation of emergency situations consequences.
