An Intenational Exhibition & Conference “Oil & Gas, Incorporating Refining and Petrochemicals” started today in Baku. This is the largest event in oil field of Caspian region founded by national hero of Azerbaijan – Heydar Aliyev. The event is supported by State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), which is a golden sponsor.

The exhibition was opened by the President of Azerbaijan Iham Aliyev. He told us about the development of oil and gas sector of the country and implemented projects.  Ms. Mariam Valishvili, First Deputy Energy Minister of Georgia, read out a letter of welcome from the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.
